In our first session, we’ll take things at a comfortable pace. I’ll ask a few questions to understand what you’re struggling with, what you hope to heal, and how I can support you. You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what to say. My goal is to create a safe, grounded space where you feel heard, understood, and not rushed.
This session helps us begin building a therapeutic relationship, so you can decide if trauma-informed therapy feels right for you. One thing to note, initial sessions are about 90 minutes. -
Sessions are typically 50 minutes, which is the standard length for trauma-informed therapy and relational healing work. Longer sessions may be available upon request.
Initial, first sessions, are approximately 90minutes.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. Many clients choose to see an out-of-network trauma therapist for more privacy, flexibility, and consistent care.
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement for part of your session fee. -
Yes. I can provide a monthly superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company. Your insurance will determine if you qualify for partial reimbursement.
If you're unsure about your benefits, you can call your insurance provider and ask: “What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?” -
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows the time to be offered to another client. Sessions canceled late are subject to the full session fee.
-
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. These spots are often full, but you’re welcome to inquire about current availability. My goal is to ensure therapy remains accessible while still providing high-quality, consistent care.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) explaining the expected costs of your mental health care. A Good Faith Estimate outlines the fees for services you may receive, so you can plan your therapy expenses with clarity and confidence.
Your Good Faith Estimate will include:
The cost of each therapy session
How often we expect to meet
The estimated total cost of therapy over a period of time
Any additional fees you may choose (extended sessions, paperwork requests, etc.)
It’s important to know that a Good Faith Estimate is not a contract. You are not locked into a certain number of sessions, and you can pause or end therapy at any time. The estimate is simply meant to help you understand your potential costs and avoid unexpected bills.
If you ever want an updated estimate or have questions about your GFE, I’m happy to walk through it with you.
